If you were nodding your head as you read the above, I completely understand. I held a lot of those concerns myself when I just started out.
As an introverted overthinker with both a full-time and a part-time job, looking back, I’m amazed I found the courage—and the time—to step into a studio at all.
Now that I’m an instructor, seeing the positive impact online classes have had on my current members has inspired me. I’m motivated to connect with more women like them—those interested in trying yoga and fitness with direct instructor guidance, but who also value the convenience and approachability of an online setting.
That’s why I created Get Moving–a 3-Month Program for Building Lasting Exercise Habits, designed to bring together a community of women in the same boat. Together you will take steps towards making movement a fulfilling part of your lives by enjoying beginner-friendly classes in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
All from the comfort of your home!
By the end, you will have the confidence to move forward on your fitness journey and continue to gain strength, stamina, stability, and flexibility.
I am so happy to be doing yoga online with Amy. When a friend asked if I would be interested, I thought, being a bit of an introvert, this would be a great way to do yoga. In the comfort of my own home! The sessions are filled with a sense of calm.
I have RA, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and I feel the stretching we do in class has helped with some of the tightness in my joints. My balance has also improved. I love the variety of her classes and feel refreshed and renewed when we are finished. It is a wonderful self care tool.
What I appreciated most about the course with Amy was the attentiveness and accommodations for experience and individual body mechanics. Our course attendees had varying degrees of strength, stability, and overall experience with Yoga poses. Amy was able to navigate this with ease and use each individual’s needs as valuable teaching moments that everyone benefited from. The materials provided after each class were wonderful. I would 100% take more virtual courses with Amy – thank you!!!
Amy is an excellent instructor, giving detailed explanations of how each exercise is designed to help build flexibility, balance, and muscle strength and reminding us of how to breathe. She also gives options for how to increase or reduce the difficulty of the exercise so that participants can choose the level that best suits them.
I have less lower back pain and more overall flexibility in my movements since having begun and stuck with Amy’s classes. I truly enjoy and benefit from attending her programs.
